History: "Incepted" in 1954 He was a new spirit, one representing the an emerging new style of music, Rock n roll. He was a free and abundant spirit that was worshiped on a daily basis but then there were bans on the music, slowly it was becoming forbidden across the land thanks to the older conservative parties ruling at the time, It was a bad time for the rock spirit as such he needed somewhere to flee.
Making his way to a forest on a truck heading to a pirate station in the middle he was hoping to save the pirates from the angry mod the truck was carrying. The long trip eventually made him fell asleep and rolled off the truck, down a hill into the front steps what looked like the entrance to an old temple, with purple walls and a couple of Darmanitan statues. He hears gunfire coming from the pirate radio station then an plume of smoke rising from it then the cheer of hillbillies he felt himself grow weaker.
This land was becoming too hostile to him as he felt the music fading in the flames making weak and disoriented, he puts his hand on the wall to support himself and strangely found some of his strength returning when he did. Curious he decided to enter the temple and see what was in there.
He followed the long tunnel until he was met by Yveltal And Xernias. They proclaim themselves as the gatekeepers to a secret world where spirits may take rest from the chaos and destruction of the mortal realm. Seeing as Jack was a musical spirit of sorts they naturally let him in to take shelter from the mortal realm he was not welcome in.
He remained in this world till things gotten better in the mortal realm for the music he represented. But as such over the passing of time it wavered as did his crossings between the realms. His music often banned, un-banned, edited and sometimes things get a little too crazy from those against it and those worshiping it to the point he just needs to get away.
The same could be said for the intrepid spirit, Undergoing changes throughout the years like the music did as well as changed in attitude and looks.Wit the ebb and flow of time the spirit
At first in the 1950's he was polite romantic and sweet, Dressed often in baby blue suits sans the shoes kept his hair cut to a pompadour, face shaved and a wonderful warm voice. He often hanged out with teenagers playing in bars and community halls. His power grew slowly and throughout the hometowns and big cities it was heard until the conservatives pulled the plug and he felt himself growing weaker. it was lucky for him he did find the secret hideout.
In the 60's he was calm, aloof, and wise with a sense of adventure. He reentered the mortal realm and the music changed for the better the Heracrosses were the band of the time and it was the whole idea of mop tops and mod. His appearance reflected that with a simple black suit and tie and a bowl cut, clean shave and a accent reminiscent of the heracrosses, he spent his time shadowing that band and those like it in particular in their misadventures. protecting them from potential pitfalls. It soon became too much for the poor spirit and once again he needed to take a hiatus in the hideout.
in the 70's he was loud, boisterous, and eccentric, Maybe even a little nuts. When he exited the world was Topsy Tervy for him even the band he shadowed changed to reflect this new age of open minds, open hearts and radical ideals. So much so his appearance and personality reflected that. His hair and beard went to the floor and he wore nothing more then full moon spectacles and a beaded headband with the peace symbol on it , fortunately his hair and beard was long enough to cover what need be hidden. He often followed and blessed the many rockers and hippies that ruled those days and give them the strength and power to turn the conservative world on it's head. though once again it took it out of the poor spirit so once more he retires to the hideout.
in the 80's was a real change, He became energetic, excitable, bold and confident. It was a time that the music was louder the bands were bigger and it was all about a sacred Trifecta. Sex Drugs and rock n roll. Though he represented the rock part of the deal making friends with a fertility spirit and a inebriation spirit pretty much solidified the a new personality of big parties, big concerts and big hair. It was a heck of a ride till the inebriation spirit met his end due to Jack's own foolishness. This drove jack into a depression and he retreated to the hideout to collect himself.
The 90's was a challenging time for him he was lonely, depressed, and a bit gruff. One day he left the hideout just out of curiosity to see how bad things have gotten what h heard was a new kind of rock that sang to his emotion to his feelings. Grunge. This loud hard and coarse music felt right to him he felt all of his emotions were out there for all to hear and they were understood. He felt better but took an different view of the world with his shoulder length unkempt hair bluejeans and plaid long sleeve button up with a scruffy stubble and a "lollipop" in his mouth. Feeling a little better about himself he retreated to the hideout to take a breather.
around the 00's he was confident, Headstrong and powerful. Entering this new age he seen that rock has taken a new shape, Fusing with rap and techno it was something new and powerful . He Sees that this fusion has potential and joins in on it. this image reflected in him with a change of attitude and outfit. Shaved head and face baseball cap and a hoodie with skinny jeans he went to raves concerts and embraced the music springing fourth from a budding internet he felt worshiped on a daily basis and was growing stronger and robust but at a cost. After others that he represented mentioned the new age of rock lacked the roots the old one had. This drove him into depression and he went to the hideout to try to reevaluate himself.
It was thanks to a old friend and an impromptu concert in the hideout he figured out what he was missing, rock is about putting on a show, bringing others together and raising them in the jubalence of music and dance.
Now he's doing a lot better, his personality is a accumulation of the past ages and through this he built himself a new image he proclaims himself. "The god of rock." He is a joyful and open and eccentric. Loves to put on a show and use his powers and time to spread the power of rock to every corner of the world possible. Whether blessing a garage band with a contract opportunity, or cursing bands who sell out to the corporations and not the fans. He now lives to keep the rhythm going and to draw others into the champion sound that is rock.

And will occasionally put on a show In the hideout. Has trained himself to mimic most of the singing voices of the singers he's blessed through the ages.
